It was a great meeting. Representative Timothy Walz is a great supporter of JDRF. JDRF advocates and Rep. Walz were all on the same page concerning the need to fund research up front and putting research dollars into the prevention and management of Type 1. He will be glad to vote yes on research funding for Type 1.
