Promise Testimonials Coming Soon

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Let’s start this with a big THANK YOU to all of our advocates that are supporting the Promise to Remember Me Campaign. The Promise Campaign staff wants to take a moment to thank those of you that are not only following the Campaign but also have attended a Promise meeting in your local areas. You have truly taken the next step in advocacy and translated your passion for a cure into action on the ground!

Considering the impact JDRF advocates are making at Promise meetings, the Campaign staff thought that it was time to hear from our advocates how these are meetings are going from the local perspective. Early in October, the staff launched a survey to collect testimonials and feedback from advocates that have had the opportunity to attend a meeting. This will help us continue to improve on our campaign efforts and tactics. But most importantly, it’ll give us an opportunity to share the true impact of the Promise Campaign! So starting next month, we’ll select a testimonial or two each week to share with you in the Promise Blog.

If you have attended a Promise meeting and would like to let us know how your meeting went, please click here. See below for some things you can mention in your testimonial:
  • Why do you think Promise meetings are important?
  • Explain the feeling you had before, during and after the meeting.
  • Why should others register to attend a Promise meeting?

A big "thank you" to all of the JDRF GR staff in DC for helping us with these Promise meetings every step of the way. I truly feel like you are my partners in the pursuit of a cure for Type 1 diabetes. You help strengthen our voice by uniting us in this cause.

About the Promise Campaign

The Promise Campaign is a coordinated effort to schedule and complete as many meetings as possible between representatives and senators and their constituents in their local districts. In addition to building relationships with federal lawmakers, it allows JDRF to continue the momentum and messaging established through our Children's Congress event.
