Promise 2010 Thanks YOU

What a month! For the past 31 days you and your Campaign Coordinators have called, emailed, and organized to get our message of finding a cure for type 1 diabetes directly to our Members of Congress.

Your efforts allowed us to complete or schedule 83 meetings with Member of Congress! Although we didn’t make it to our first milestone of 100 meetings, your efforts have certainly made the first month of the Promise Campaign the best ever in the ten year history of the campaign!

We simply want to say ‘THANK YOU’! We couldn’t have accomplished this without you and your passion to find a cure. Stay passionate, stay tuned and most important of all, stay engaged! We’ll see you at the next Promise meeting!

Thanks again for all you do,

Michelle Crouse, Promise Co-Chair, South Region
Camille Nash, Promise Co-Chair, Midwest Region
Melinda Rose, Promise Co-Chair, Northeast Region
Stefanie Sonico, Promise Co-Chair, West Region

About the Promise Campaign

The Promise Campaign is a coordinated effort to schedule and complete as many meetings as possible between representatives and senators and their constituents in their local districts. In addition to building relationships with federal lawmakers, it allows JDRF to continue the momentum and messaging established through our Children's Congress event.
