Thank you guys so much for trying to fid a cure. I was diagnosed March 25, 2009. I've learned so much and I love the pen pals. I've made some great new friends.

We are so proud of you, Mom, and JDRF for your efforts. You are amazing and it sounds as if you've even got the dog cheering in the background :) I can't wait for the day we celebrate a cure!

Thanks for your message, Melinda, and thanks to Senator Karen Spilka (D-MA) for sponsoring our family in the Boston JDRF walk last weekend! Together, we will find a cure!

That was a great video. I have really enjoyed hearing from the 4 co-chairs and it makes us all feel like we are a team working towards a goal. The story of Carl in Connecticut with 102 advocates for a meeting is incredible.

Awesome. I love the video updates especially since we have not seen our friends for a while. And congratulations Conneticut! How did you pull that off? Must have been an outdoor meeting.

About the Promise Campaign

The Promise Campaign is a coordinated effort to schedule and complete as many meetings as possible between representatives and senators and their constituents in their local districts. In addition to building relationships with federal lawmakers, it allows JDRF to continue the momentum and messaging established through our Children's Congress event.
